Minors on Campus

UNC Charlotte has adopted a policy to establish safeguards for children under the age of 18 who participate in UNC Charlotte activities and programs on university land and in facilities or under the authority and direction of the university at other locations.

To meet the requirements of the policy, all program staff members (any adults who will interact with Minors as part of an activity or program) must review the policy training course and successfully complete the annual training before working with Minors.

After completing this training, you will be able to:

  • Know UNC Charlotte’s expectation of behaviors in order to avoid child or sex abuse related crime, and to protect yourself
  • Protect Non-Student Minors who participate in activities and programs
  • Act as a positive role model and avoid putting yourself in a risky situation
  • Successfully pass the policy assessment

Please review the following Policy and workbook below.  After your review please complete the quiz associated with this course.
